Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have a brand-new opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team as Maths and English Lead .

The Role:

As Maths and English Lead you will provide high quality leadership and management of maths and English to learners and colleagues whilst working to promote the values, vision and mission of IF/TCC. Ensuring that the curriculum of the highest quality is offered and delivered that meets the needs of existing and potential learners and employers in line with local and national priorities and the overall strategic direction of the business.

The role will involve:

  • Developing a dynamic learning culture that is demand led, responsive and flexible and is characterised by the provision of an excellent, innovative and high-quality learning experience for all learners.
  • To actively promote the maths and English delivery model, ensuring that learners experience vibrant, stimulating and active learning.
  • Working with the Operations Director and Quality Director to initiate, innovate and lead change to deliver curriculum excellence. This includes implementing new content where appropriate.
  • To provide appropriate reports to include monthly/annual updates and submissions for the for the QIP and SAR

About you

You will:

  • Strong leadership skills and experience, including commercial awareness, and performance management
  • Proven experience of excellent people management and performance management skills with the ability to inspire and develop strong relationships
  • Experience of working with ESFA, funding rules and audit requirements
  • Experience of Ofsted inspection including SAR and action planning against a QIP
  • Previous experience in a similar role
