Community Health and Wellbeing Development Coach

The role

Do you have relevant experience in the community with disadvantaged groups or significant experience in Health and Wellbeing?
Do you have a passion for teaching, specifically within Apprenticeships?

Impact Futures and The Childcare Company are proud to be launching our brand new Community Health and Wellbeing provision and we need you to be the driving force behind it’s delivery.

As a Development Coach you will be responsible for managing a caseload of apprentices to deliver a quality learning experience for their Apprenticeship Standard within their place of work, whilst providing exceptional support to both learners and employers.

You will provide learners clear milestones and targets alongside monthly teaching sessions (remote or face to face) as well as reviewing their progress every 10-12 weeks to support their timely progression to gateway and on to successfully completing their end point assessment.

You will support each learner’s Maths and English journey including functional skills if required and support any additional learning needs, they may have.

You will ensure all required records are completed to meet ESFA and Ofsted requirements.

The role will involve:

  • Lead a caseload of learners to support them to achieve their apprenticeship or qualification covering all areas of knowledge, skills, and behaviours as well as any additional requirements such as a Diploma through to Gateway and successful End Point Assessment
  • Complete robust and in-depth tripartite reviews (every 10-12 weeks) with the learner and line manager/mentor to discuss progress across all elements of the apprenticeship
  • Ensure all learners have completed an initial assessment and diagnostic for maths and English using the online platform BKSB. You will then continue to stretch and challenge all learners throughout their learning journey towards maths and English
  • Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback including SPAG and update the E- Portfolio system (Aptem)

You’ll be joining a leading national training provider at an exciting time of growth and expansion, working in a fun and supportive environment in an organisation with a strong focus on people and culture.

Expect regular catch-ups and socials with your team, surprises in the post and company-wide social events- we’re a friendly bunch.
