The Role
You will be working as part of the Audit and Compliance Department, carrying out internal audit checks on documentation and reporting any non-compliant actions to the Audit and Compliance Manager. The role holder will also process accurate and timely data daily for all learners, in time for monthly submissions to the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).
There will be occasions for interaction with other internal stakeholders to drive continuous improvement that mitigates any financial Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) and other funding stream clawback. ESFA Funding Rules and other external guidance documents will form the foundation of audit checks and data entry.
The successful candidate will have data entry experience, an understand of the training sector and the importance of adhering to funding rules.
The role will involve:
- Conduct audit and compliance checks for all onboarded learners to ensure ESFA compliancy
- Complete compliance checks for change of employer requests, additional learning support, achievers, withdrawals and other areas of post on-boarding
- Carry out compliance checks for quality of delivery; progress reviews, off-the-job training and other aspects of quality
- Keep up to date with ESFA funding rules for all funding streams of Apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps and Advanced Learner Loans.

About you
You will:
- Experience of undertaking compliance checks
- Data entry experience
- Experience of working with Aptem as the core MIS (or similar, e.g. Maytas, PICS)
- Microsoft Office user, with Excel skills
- Understanding of ESFA/other funding rules, and how they apply to the role
