Business management software provider, The Access Group, worked closely with Impact Futures to facilitate the £200,000 donation from their levy account, to leading UK adult social care provider, ivolve Group – resources the organisation can utilise to upskill their workforce.
One of the most exciting aspects of this donation, is that the funds are not restricted to any particular apprenticeship standard or location. This means ivolve can distribute funding to wherever it’s needed the most, for any apprenticeship and any member of their incredible team.
In addition, no time limit has been placed on the funds’ usage, enabling this donation to potentially support years of valuable, fully funded training for as many as 50 workers in residential care, supported living services, complex care, and other essential areas of care and assistance in England.
The Access Group provided the funding to ivolve using the government’s levy transfer funding initiative, which enables larger businesses to transfer a portion of their legally mandated apprentice levy funds to another smaller charity or organisation.
With a workforce of thousands, supporting all manner of care roles and teams across the UK, ivolve will be using this financial influx to give their dedicated care staff funded, on-the-job training – with Impact Futures supporting the delivery of the learning.
The curriculum ranges from Level 2 foundational skills for workers who provide frontline care, to Level 5 leadership, helping staff manage teams, financial services, and organisational changes.
“This funding is opening up a world of possibility for our people,” says ivolve Group’s Tom Corbett. “Team members can now enhance their skills and elevate the quality of care we’re able to provide to those who need it - all over the country.”
“There is still a significant skills shortage in the care sector,” says Managing Director of Access Group’s Health, Support and Care (HSC) division, Steve Sawyer. “Retaining and supporting staff across all levels of care is crucial to patients and health care providers alike. We’re delighted to support iVolve, and the terrific work they’re doing to provide quality care in the UK today.”
Funding is already being put to use, training people in a range of care environments. Impact Futures is thrilled for all involved, and excited to support ivolve staff on their learning journey.
