End Point Assessment Assistant

Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have an exciting opportunity for a professional individual to join our Quality team as a hybrid-based End Point Assessment Assistant. This department is a small but vital part of the company and is continuing to grow.

Please note: This will be a hybrid role and you be will required to travel to either of our offices for occasional meetings and company events. 

The Role

In this customer facing role you will support the coordination and administration of EPA assessment bookings, reminding learners of planned assessments, liaising with learners and employers to rebook cancelled or failed assessments, monitoring results and maintaining the online e-portfolio system with relevant data. You will be working with the wider EPA team to deal with learner and internal staff queries, monitor data, schedule assessments with the End Point Assessment Organisations, reporting results and claiming assessment outcomes in line with service level agreements (SLA’s).

 

The role will involve:

  • Ensuring all learner information is processed on the internal e-portfolio system and EPAO platforms according to the team SLA’s
  • Maintaining accurate learner and employer information on the end point assessment organisation platform and update as required
  • Compliance checking and uploading all gateway documentation onto the platform
  • Act as a point of contact for the team, according to the planned schedule, to include contacting and liaising with learners/internal staff, email management to answer queries, respond to questions and escalate matters to the appropriate individual as required and make and answer phone calls

About you

You will:

  • Maths and English GCSE, grade D or above
  • Exceptional attention to detail and Microsoft Office user, with Excel skills
  • Ability to use problem-solving, solution driven and analytical skills and techniques and willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
  • Desirable - Business admin qualification
  • Desirable - Experience of EPAO and Aptem (e-portfolio) systems, awareness of or willingness to learn about Ofsted, Accountability framework and ESFA funding rules and an understanding of, and knowledge of the apprenticeship market or experience of working with external bodies such as external quality assurance bodies
