Impact Futures UK and The Childcare Company have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our Quality team as a hybrid-based Teaching & Learning Lead.

This is a remote role with occasional travelling for meetings.

The Role
As a Teaching & Learning Lead, you will have the energy, passion and ambition to drive this aspect of our business to the next level including working with delivery staff to continuously improve the apprentice experience. There will also be a lead role on driving CPD for all Development Coaches across the business. You will be accountable for the success of Teaching, Learning and assessment, this role will make a key contribution towards the overall strategic leadership of the organisations drive for outstanding provision. This success will be measured through success rates, high quality teaching and learning, high levels of positive progression and destination outcomes. Maintain high levels of integrity, promoting the right behaviours within the team and across the whole company. Putting quality and compliance at the forefront of all activities and influencing others within the teams to follow these principles.

The role will involve:

  • Monitoring teaching learning and assessment practices across the business and provide assurances of improvement. Liaising with partners where required to co-observe the quality of education
  • Conducting curriculum deep dives across our provisions to identify areas for development and best practice
  • Supporting development coaches to utilise the learner portfolio system effectively (Aptem)
  • Ensuring that learners from disadvantaged backgrounds receive specific support to overcome barriers to their learning

About you

You will:

  • Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring individuals to drive and improve performance. Demonstrable experience of driving quality improvements as well as carrying out observations for teaching, learning and assessment
  • Strong knowledge of ESFA and ESF funding rules and strong knowledge of OFSTED Education Inspection Framework
  • 5 years quality management experience - desirable
  • Recognised Teaching qualification and IQA qualification - desirable
