Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Quality team as a hybrid-based Registration and Certifications Manager.

The role is home-based but will require occasional travel to our Head Office in Slough and Birmingham office for team meetings and company events.

The Role

As a Registration and Certifications Manager you will work in collaboration with both Quality and Operational colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the department to meet the organisational demands and mandatory requirements. You will line manage several individuals in the team inclusive of registration and certification officers and functional skills administrators. It is imperative that a can-do attitude in a hands-on management role is maintained, not only supporting the team but leading and striving for excellence in all you do.

The role will involve:

  • Ensuring all learner registration and certification is processed on the internal e-portfolio system and Awarding Organisation platforms according to the team SLA’s
  • Maintaining accurate learner and qualification information on the organisation online platform and Awarding Organisations systems, updating this as required
  • Acting as a point of contact for the team, according to the planned schedule, to include contacting and liaising with learners/internal staff, email management to answer queries, respond to questions and escalate matters to the appropriate individual as required and make and answer phone calls
  • Supporting, guiding and training internal stakeholders to ensure registration, certification and scheduling processes are followed, ensuring that all parties are kept up to date of any changes

About you

You will:

  • Maths & English GCSE, grade C or above
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office applications (especially Outlook, Word, Teams and Excel)
  • Ability to use problem-solving, solution driven and analytical skills and techniques
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. High level of organisational skills and time management with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Interpersonal skills – managing relationships at all levels internal and external to the organisation
