Impact Futures and The Childcare Company are delighted to announce that we have a prominent opportunity for a passionate individual to join our Senior Leadership Team as our hybrid-based Quality Director.

The Role

As our Quality Director, you will be leading on all aspects of Quality Assurance. Key success criteria will be to build on recent inspection improvements and move towards OFSTED ‘Outstanding’. You will inspire, motivate, support and challenge the team and exceed all agreed Quality & Delivery KPI’s. The role will centre around all our programme quality assurance and compliance processes, our governance structures and reporting, the audit compliance, and the relationships with our regulators.

This role requires someone with energy, passion and ambition to drive this aspect of our business to the next level including working with delivery staff to continuously improve the apprentice experience. There will also be a lead role on driving CPD for all Development Coaches across the business.

The role will involve:

  • Leading and maintaining full compliance across the Quality & Delivery function meeting all ESFA funding and regulatory requirements
  • Defining our apprenticeship coaching approach, using innovative, engaging and digitally-led learning, and ensure consistent high-quality delivery of this to each and every apprentice
  • Leading on our Self-Assessment Review and ensuring Quality Improvement Plans drive impact to meet the desired improvement objectives
  • Putting quality and compliance at the forefront of everything the business does. Acting with integrity and setting high expectations for colleagues

About you

You will:

  • Demonstrable experience of driving quality improvements as well as a proven background of carrying out observations for teaching, learning and assessment
  • Strong knowledge of ESFA and ESF funding rules, OFSTED Education Inspection Framework. Strong people management, influencing and coaching skills
  • Holds a Level 5 Management qualification (or the willingness to work towards) and have 5 years quality management experience - Essential
  • Holds an Assessor's qualification - Essential
  • Holds a recognised Teaching Qualification and IQA qualification - Desirable
