Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have an exciting opportunity for a remote – based Maths and English Coach to join our Functional Skills team. There will be occasional travelling for team meetings.
The Role
As a Maths and English Coach you will be responsible for the delivery of Functional Skills level 1 and 2 to a caseload of apprentices.
The role will involve:
- Utilising appropriate Initial Assessment tools and interpret the data in order to create a plan for your learner.
- Using Diagnostic Assessments to determine what support your learner requires and support throughout.
- Continually assess, monitor, review, evaluate and adjust your delivery to meet your learners needs.
- Preparing and adapt teaching materials including hand-outs, Power points and assessment papers, to enable all learners to progress.

About you
You will:
- Must be a qualified Functional Skills Tutor and hold relevant qualifications (Functional skills level 2)
- Teaching Qualification, PTLLS or equivalent
- Assessor Qualification, A1 or equivalent (desirable)
- Have experience delivering Functional Skills from Entry level to level 2 in Maths and English.
