Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our Business Skills team as a hybrid-based Level 5 Coaching Professional. This is a brand new contract that we are working on, and you will be the driving force behind establishing this programme and relationship with the client.

The Role

As a Level 5 Coaching professional, you will be delivering and facilitating teaching, training coaching and mentoring apprentices. The apprenticeship standards you will be delivering are Level 4 Learning and Skills Mentor and Level 5 Coaching professional. It will be up to 4 cohorts of up to 15 learners. This is a hybrid role: whilst the majority of delivery will be from home – remotely, face to face delivery is required x2 throughout each programme.

You will be required to take ownership of each learner/apprentice and provide them with the best learning journey from start to finish whilst adhering to ESFA funding and compliance rules

The role will involve:

  • Leading a caseload of learners to support them to achieve their apprenticeship with monthly teaching sessions using a blended delivery approach
  • Monitoring learner progress across their apprenticeship and engage with line managers
  • Supporting learners to achieve their FS level 2 in English, Maths and ICT if they do not hold these on entry
  • Develop and promote excellent relationships within the team, with clients (managers & learners)

About you

You will:

  • Assessing qualification with minimum 2 years experience in assessing leaders/managers (essential)
  • Recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTLLS, DTLLS, AET, PGCE or equivalent as well as Maths, English and ICT GCSE Grade C or above / Functional Skills Level 2 (essential)
  • Recognised Level 5 or above in a coaching/mentoring discipline (essential)
  • Relevant occupational experience in Coaching/mentoring leaders or managers gained within the last 5 years (essential)
  • Have a full driving license and use of a car, as well as full motor insurance for business use (essential)
