Impact Futures and The Childcare Company have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join our Residential Childcare team as a hybrid-based Tutor to deliver an outstanding teaching and learning experience for learners, in line with our commercial qualifications.

The Role

You will deliver teaching, coaching and assessment up to level 5, taking ownership of each learner to ensure funding and compliance is adhered to. Providing information, advice and guidance to learners is a key element of the role, supporting each learner throughout their learning journey.

Internal and external stakeholder engagement will support learner progress and timely achievement.

This is a hybrid role: there is an expectation to visit learners occasionally for progress reviews and additional tutoring (national travel)

The role will involve:

  • Lead a caseload of learners and support them to achieve their accredited qualification journey, as well as any additional requirements
  • Regularly assess work and provide constructive feedback including SPAG and update the E- Portfolio system (Aptem)
  • Develop and promote excellent stakeholder relationships, internal and external, including colleagues, learners and employers
  • Take responsibility to ensure safeguarding, PREVENT, British Values, Health, Safety and Wellbeing and equality, diversity and inclusion are promoted and monitored continually in all areas of the job role

About you

You will:

  • Assessor Award CAVA or TAQA Level 3, A1, D32/33 or equivalent (essential)
  • Teaching Qualification, PTLLS or equivalent (essential)
  • Recognised Level 5 or above in CYPFP Residential (essential)
  • Able to deliver up to Level 5 CYPFP Residential (essential)
  • Clean driving licence and access to own vehicle
