Client Partnership Manager – Scotland

The Role

As a part of our team, you will be dealing with small to medium sized businesses in the corporate and public industries within Scotland. You will have the opportunity to develop new client relationships through a consultative sales method and your success will be determined by how proactive you are and by how much value you create.

As a Client Partnership Manager, you will be integral to the success of the overall commercial team; responsible for generating and qualifying leads by following a proven prospecting and qualification methodology. You will identify and research lists of companies to target and will create and deliver outbound campaigns to generate new business opportunities. You will conduct high-level conversations with key stakeholders about their training needs, uncovering strategies and challenges they may face to develop a solution-based sell.

The successful candidate will be a high -energy, goal-oriented and tenacious team player that loves to win new business.

The role will not involve: – Enrolment – Learner recruitment – Bid writing and tenders – Marketing – Account Management…

The role will involve:

  • Leading on new business activities and developing training solutions. The primary role for the Client Partnership Manager is to generate new business through networking, cold calling, proactive promotion and any other outbound activity generating interest from prospective clients. Planning, pipelining and adopting persuasive approaches and pitches to ensure Impact Futures/The Childcare Company stands out above others are all vital to the role.
  • Attending industry functions, such as association events and conferences to grow pipeline and present feedback to the wider team regarding market insight and creative trends.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop Impact Futures and The Childcare Company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Developing client proposals within a consultative solutions approach.

About you

You will:

  • Significant and proven sales background, with a history of meeting and exceeding targets
  • Knowledge and experience in selling commercial training courses within Scotland.
  • Experience of developing and presenting solutions made bespoke to a client’s needs through a consultative approach.
  • A proven background in generating business via a variety of proactive, innovative methods inclusive of cold calling, networking, and leveraging and extending existing networks
  • Holds clean, valid driving Licence with access to a vehicle
